It’s getting everywhere. Must be more careful; must be more precise.
Looking down at my fingers tinged with blood, I raise them to my mouth, and lick.
A smile creeps onto my stained lips and my body rushes with the excitement of the moment. The need for more is always present.

I suckle on the soft skin and hear the whimpers of my host.
Blue eyes meet with crimson ones and then flutter closed.
Small lips turn upward in a delicate smile, a name whispered upon them, “Emm….”
“Shhhhh,” I soothe and caress the tanned skin.
He lies upon the cream couch. He is Light; I am Dark. Human and Vampire, united together in lust and need.
I always liked this particular male: the scoring of pliable flesh, the pulling of the spicy blood, the feeling of ecstasy as mortality teeters on the edge.

Once I’m finished, I’ll clean and wrap the blue eyed man in blankets, making him comfortable. There will be no memories of this moment. It will be as if I never existed.
I’ll make the human forget, so that we can do it all again next year.
Our date with destiny will come again, but for this year, I am complete.

I really like that you used Emmett and not, say, Jasper. Emmett, to me, has always seemed the most human, the most removed from the blood-lust, so I really enjoyed reading him as a carnivore vamp (carnivamp?).

This is my favorite sort of flavor: tangy with copper and salt
but… it’s getting dark… and I feel sleepy….
